Telligen – National Coordinating Center QIN/QIOs

PFCCpartners is the Patient Family Engagement Subcontractor under Telligen’s National Coordinating Center (NCC) to the Quality Improvement Network/Quality Improvement Organizations (QIN/QIO) contract with Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS).  Each state-based Quality Improvement Organization (QIOs) belongs to one of fourteen Quality Improvement Networks (QINs) across the country.  They are tasked with improving healthcare for Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries across settings.

PFCCpartners is partnered with Telligen as the NCC to engage beneficiaries in the prioritization, design, and implementation of quality improvement efforts taking place across the country.  To accomplish this – each QIN/QIO is guided through an intentional approach to establishing sustainable Patient Family Advisory Programs, referred to as Beneficiary Family Advisory Councils (BFACs).  PFCCpartners also supports the PFE community within the QIN/QIOs by hosting monthly PFE Think Tanks and delivers training programs to Advisors and staff to expand the capacity for partnership.
