2019 PFCC Conference

2019 Conference Banner

It seems every year we say “This is the best yet!” but this year was truly even more inspired.  Dennis Wagner and Paul McGann shared the day with us, inspiring leadership, sharing outcomes and connecting us to the importance of partnering with patients and families.  The morning panel of Orme Partnership Award recipients shared the high value and sustainable programs they initiated through partnership.  Our Faculty told of their collaborative efforts with patients and families across healthcare settings. Such an impressive group of talented and dedicated people improving care locally, regionally and nationally.  Kelly Parent and Moonshot 2020, the journey at Beaumont Health, the wildly fantastic OpenNotes crew and the Conversation Project, joined St. Francis Medical Center’s team in sparking new ideas of what is possible when we bring together the expertise of healthcare professionals with the experience of patients and families.
None of it would have been possible without the support of our conference sponsors, we are grateful for your support!  Our planning partners at Partners in Care Foundation and Health Services Advisory Group (HSAG) make planning easy!  To the participants who traveled across the country and across town – THANK YOU for sharing your day and your knowledge with us.  And finally, to my incredible team – Stephen, Conference Planning Coordinator and Lindsey and Laura – you guys are truly a dream team to work with!
