How to Join

To join the sessions, reference either the Event Syllabus (PDF) or the event webpage.  Both will be available on this coming Monday, Sept 14th.  The Event Syllabus includes links that take you directly “into” each Zoom room.  Similarly, the event webpage will have buttons to join directly, and additional access options.  Breakout sessions will be individual Zoom virtual meeting rooms, with unique meeting links.  You will be asked to provide a name and email to enter each unique session. (#ZoomingTowardPFCC).

You will need to download Zoom platform before joining, you can do so with the link below.  If you would like to test your Zoom, join the Participant Tech-Check this Monday (9/14) at 12:00pm PT, 3:00pm ET.  You can RSVP (now) or access (on Monday) the Tech-Check here.

For CEUs, you will need to attend the session live, through the Zoom application.  Listening by phone call is not adequate to obtain CEU credits.  A total of six credits are available, two for the first day, and four credits for attending the second day.  You must attend all events for the day in which you are obtaining credits. 

During the PFCC Conference: A Virtual Skills Exchange make sure to:

  • Use the chat. We welcome conversation and connection. The chat feature is a great way to learn more about your fellow participants
  • Make sure you’re on mute. Background noise can be distracting, so make sure you are on mute when you aren’t talking to the group.
  • Use the camera. Another great way to connect is seeing faces! Be sure your camera is on to communicate face to face.
  • Check out the recordings. After the event, we will upload recordings from each session. You are welcome to come back and watch anything you missed.
